You have something in mind and want it to be in a form of document and share it online. Inspite the fact that you have your word processor on your personal computer or just a plain text editor still you are wondering how will it be shared online.
Google really changes the way we live today. They have developed an online word processor, spreadsheets and forms and can be shared across any platform. Here is a short tutorial on How to create Google Docs.
1) You must have a Google Account. Secure one now. Click https://accounts.google.com/SignUp.
2) To create a google document, visit this https://drive.google.com.
3) Click CREATE (drop down menu).
4) Select Document.
5) Write your document. If you previously written your document in your word processor you can copy and paste it (Go to your word processor, Select All Text [ctrl+A] [ctrl+C] go back to google docs, put your cursor inside the word processor and [ctrl+v] for mac users change ctrl button to command
6) Save your document
7) Click SHARE. Sharing settings will appear and you have the Link to share and Social Media buttons, you can also modifly who can access your documents. Double Check your text, spelling, grammar etc. Before sharing.
Documents can be edited, use Spreadsheets, for formula or computation. Just keep in mind that the Document, as defined below will be shared online so make sure that it is not violating Internet Rules.

A document serves to establish one or several facts, and can be relied upon as a proof thereof. Generally speaking, documents function as evidence of intentions, whereas records function as evidence of activities.
