This was posted on Facebook months ago but did not go viral. Chowking management was fast enough to act on this matter with the dissatisfied costumer. According to the poster, they ordered chicken and tofu and was served with additional piece of metal ingredient as shown on the photo's above.
Chowking was the first Filipino fast food opened in Qatar in 2009 so all the Filipinos were really eager to taste its famous meal from back home. There was a lot of kabayan waited outside on its opening day. It was a long line but worth the wait. The service was not the best but at least they tried so hard to please the hungry costumers. In the past year, the service and quality of food has changed because of poor management.
Some of the posters friends were enthusiastic about sharing their experiences with Chowking.
Jane. Let me share u something as well.. We've had our dinner at Chowking Ramada last Thursday and we ordered chopseuy and to our surprise there's some kind of an insect which measured about half an inch long. We are uncertain if it was a cricket, cockroach or some sort of that thing. The manager is very apologetic and he explained that it's coming from the veggies

An anonymous concern citizen posted this on Facebook, shared by Pinoy Rap Radio on March 1, with 122,805 share and 81, 449 as of this writing. A story of an epileptic father who keep waiting for her daughter who abandoned him. Hopefully, Antonio Tapales Terrado, of Tapulao, Orani, Bataan will reunite with his daughter.
Please wag din po natin basta basta i-judge yung anak nya, this was only based on tatay ANTONIO's side.
Godbless.

I'm a loyal consumer of your product for so many years already and I love your loaf bread, really. However, I would like to express my DISGUST when I saw this unknown insect embedded in one of the slices. I am providing photos as proof that this have happened inside your factory, there is no way that I planted this and I have no reason to do that. All I want is to enjoy my breakfast. Honestly, I'm devastated that I might have eaten the other half of the insect's wings because it's obviously cut by the machine together with the bread.
Back in college, we went to your production plant as part of our field trip. I was amazed knowing that you are ISO certified as well. I can't believe that your QA overlooked this. I've been trying to call your hotline but maybe you relied on your operator system too much or probably because it's a Sunday and no one's in the office today.
I am more than willing to send you this particular slice of bread so you could see for yourself. I cannot find any email address to send you photos in better quality than this photo collage. I just used iPhone BTW, but I did my best to take clear shots.
I am writing this to also share awareness to other consumers that by any chance they experience the same incident, they might want to speak up as well. I know this might cause a bad publicity to your brand but such customer complaint will surely improve the business itself.
And to everyone who's reading this right now, some of you will surely bash me for this but it really won't help. It was NOT YOU who ALMOST ate an insect for breakfast. I'm just disappointed, thank you for your utmost understanding.
Sincerely,
Wilonah Chan
Independence Day celebration is not complete without fireworks. Fireworks can be dangerous, causing serious injuries and even deaths. In some city, it is illegal to set off fireworks within the city limits and they are legal from 8 a.m. until midnight on July 4th. Each State has their own law to follow to promote safety in the community.
Don't forget to follow these important safety tips when using fireworks from the United State Consumer product Safety Commission
- Never allow young children to play with or ignite fireworks.
- Avoid buying fireworks packaged in brown paper because this is often a sign they were made for professionals and could pose a danger to consumers.
- Always have an adult supervise fireworks activities. Parents don’t realize that young children suffer injuries from sparklers, which burn at a temperature of about 2,000 degrees – hot enough to melt some metals.
- Never place any part of your body directly over a fireworks device when lighting the fuse. Back up to a safe distance immediately after lighting.
- Never try to re-light or pick up fireworks that have not ignited fully.
- Never point or throw them at anyone.
- Keep a bucket of water or garden hose handy in case of fire or any other mishap.
- Light fireworks one at a time, then move back quickly
- Never carry fireworks in a pocket or shoot them off in metal or glass containers.
- After fireworks complete their burning, douse the spent device with water from a bucket or hose before discarding it, to prevent a trash fire.
